01 · AlarmKit
A system alarm, followed by a real mission
VeriWake registers alarms through Apple's AlarmKit rather than treating an ordinary reminder notification as an alarm. You choose the time, repeat schedule, sound and mission for each alarm, then iOS presents the system alert when it is due.
Dismissing that alert is not the same as completing the mission. VeriWake keeps the required challenge attached to its specific alarm session and can schedule a limited series of targeted retry alarms if the alert is dismissed too early. The aim is to repeat the alarm a limited number of times, not let it ring endlessly.
02 · Choose your friction
Movement, math, photos, speech and AR
A difficult morning does not always need another sound. Sometimes it needs movement; sometimes it needs focus or a reason to leave the room. VeriWake lets each alarm use its own challenge, from push-ups, squats and pose matching to math, object finding, a photo of the sky, speech, prayer or an affirmation.
You make that choice before sleep, when it is deliberate. In the morning, VeriWake checks the action required by the selected mission instead of accepting another automatic tap. See the complete catalog of 12 wake-up missions.
03 · Relevant access only
Camera and speech checks stay focused on the task
Camera missions use the iPhone camera with body-pose analysis, image recognition, text recognition or augmented reality. Spoken missions use the microphone and speech recognition. VeriWake requests camera, microphone or speech-recognition access when the selected mission needs it. Camera analysis and temporary photos stay on the device.
VeriWake requests on-device speech recognition when the device and language support it. Otherwise, recognition may use Apple's speech service. Prefer not to use the camera or microphone in the morning? Choose a different mission, such as math.
04 · Proof, not punishment
Built for heavy sleepers without false promises
VeriWake is designed for people who switch off a normal alarm before fully waking, hit snooze repeatedly or need a deliberate first action before class, work or training. A verified mission can make dismissal more intentional, but no app can guarantee that you will wake up or be on time.
Use an appropriate backup alarm when a missed alarm could cause harm. If waking remains unusually difficult despite adequate sleep, or affects your health and daily life, consider speaking with a qualified healthcare professional. VeriWake is a wake-up tool, not a medical treatment.
05 · Setup requirements
What VeriWake requires on iPhone
VeriWake runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Alarm behavior depends on AlarmKit access, device power and volume, iOS behavior, selected permissions and active access to VeriWake Pro. Camera, speech, AR and Screen Time missions or features request additional access only when needed.
Test AlarmKit alarms, Live Activities, custom sounds and Screen Time features on the iPhone you plan to use. Read the iPhone alarm troubleshooting checklist for the current setup requirements.
