1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and VII Studio ("VeriWake," "we," "us" or "our") governing your use of the VeriWake mobile application, the veriwake.app website and related account, synchronization and support services (together, the "Service").
By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you are a minor, a parent or guardian must approve your use where required.
2. The Service
VeriWake combines alarms with user-selected missions. Missions use movement, math, camera analysis, text recognition, speech recognition or augmented reality. The Service also includes wake history, streaks, achievements, routines and optional cloud synchronization. On iPhone, alarms use AlarmKit and app restrictions use Screen Time.
Features depend on your device, operating-system version, permissions, region, network connection, subscription status and Apple or Google platform behavior. Platform providers control parts of alarms, notifications, background work, store purchases and device controls. We may add, remove or change features as the product evolves.
3. Accounts and device data
You may authenticate with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your provider account and device secure and for activity that occurs through your VeriWake account.
VeriWake is local-first. Some information exists only on a specific device, including system alarm registrations, device permissions, active mission state and app restriction selections. Signing in on a new phone does not bypass system permission prompts or recreate alarm registrations until the new device is authorized and synchronized.
Notify us at contact@veriwake.app if you believe your account or device access has been compromised.
4. Subscriptions and billing
VeriWake requires active VeriWake Pro access. Available subscriptions, pricing, currency, introductory offers and eligibility are shown by the store on your device before purchase and may change. On iPhone, weekly and yearly subscriptions are offered through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to the store account used when the purchase is confirmed.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled according to the applicable store's renewal terms.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the subscription settings of the store account used for the purchase.
- Restore Purchases asks the applicable platform to synchronize eligible purchases.
- Any introductory trial is available only when the applicable store reports that your account is eligible.
Refund requests are handled through the store where the purchase was made, according to its policies. Deleting your VeriWake account or the app does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
When VeriWake confirms that Pro access is inactive, it shows the subscription screen and pauses ordinary alarms while retaining saved alarm settings and enabled status. An already active required mission is not interrupted. When access becomes active again, VeriWake attempts to restore previously enabled alarms.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in a manner that does not harm yourself, other people, the Service or its infrastructure. You must not:
- Attempt to bypass, probe, disrupt or overload security, authentication, synchronization or verification systems.
- Use the Service to violate another person's rights, privacy or property.
- Upload, transmit or introduce malware or abusive automated traffic.
- Reverse engineer or copy protected parts of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use a camera, microphone or AR mission in a location or situation where doing so would be unsafe, unlawful or intrusive.
You are responsible for choosing missions that are safe and appropriate for your health, surroundings and abilities.
6. Health, safety and alarm limitations
VeriWake is a productivity and routine tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition. Exercise missions may involve physical activity. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms, and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
No alarm system is infallible. An alarm may be affected by device power, system volume, permissions, operating-system behavior, battery or background restrictions, hardware failure, software defects, network conditions, time-zone changes, account status or force-quit behavior. Do not rely on VeriWake as your only safeguard for medical care, transportation, childcare, employment, emergencies or other high-risk commitments.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, including its software, designs, brand, graphics, copy, mission logic and original content, is owned by VII Studio or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
If you send feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, while you keep ownership of any rights you already hold.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on or links to services provided by Apple, Google, Meta and other infrastructure providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability or decisions.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VII Studio and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, missed alarms, missed appointments, loss of income or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a different result.
10. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using VeriWake at any time and may request account deletion through the app or our Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, respond to unlawful conduct, enforce these Terms or discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute-related provisions — continue to apply.
11. Changes, disputes and general terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. We will post revised Terms here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give both sides a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain in effect. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
