Deletion is permanent. If the VeriWake server cannot confirm deletion, the app keeps your account and alarms on the device so you can safely try again.

1. Delete from VeriWake

The fastest and most secure option is the built-in account action:

Open VeriWake and go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Account section.
Tap Delete Account.
Read the confirmation and confirm permanent deletion.

VeriWake first asks its server to delete the account. After the server confirms success, the app removes local platform alarm registrations, alarms, history, preferences and VeriWake account credentials from the device. If you signed in with Google, the app also attempts to revoke VeriWake's Google sign-in access and signs you out of VeriWake.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you cannot open Settings or complete deletion in the app, email contact@veriwake.app with the subject VeriWake account deletion request.

Send the request from the email address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in when possible. We may ask for additional information to verify that you control the account before deletion. Do not email passwords, identity tokens, refresh tokens or payment information.

3. What is deleted

After a verified deletion request is completed, VeriWake deletes or disconnects the account's server-side records, including:

  • Account profile and connected Apple or Google identity records.
  • Registered devices, app sessions and refresh tokens.
  • Synchronized alarms, settings, routine and permitted onboarding answers.
  • Wake-up events, wake-up history and synchronization metadata.
  • Installation and onboarding analytics already linked to the account.

The in-app flow also removes VeriWake's supported local alarms and user data from the current device. Deleting only one alarm, signing out or removing one registered device does not delete the entire account.

4. What may be retained

We may retain limited information when required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution obligations. Backups may take a limited time to expire through normal rotation and are not restored into an active profile.

The store where you made a purchase maintains purchase and subscription records under its own policies. Apple and Google may also retain records associated with your sign-in account independently of VeriWake.

5. Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your VeriWake account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription.

Through your app store

  1. Open the store account used for the purchase and find Subscriptions.
  2. Select the VeriWake subscription.
  3. Choose the available cancellation option and follow the store instructions.

When Settings is accessible in VeriWake, you can also open subscription management there. You can manage your subscription through the store account used for the purchase even when you cannot access VeriWake.
